Ingredients
  

  • For the Batter:
  • 4 eggs separated
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • For the Cocktail:
  • 4 oz dark rum
  • 2 oz brandy
  • 4 cups hot milk
  • Freshly grated nutmeg for garnish

Instructions
 

  • In a large bowl, beat the egg whites until stiff peaks form.
  • In a separate bowl, beat the egg yolks with the powdered sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and vanilla extract until light and creamy.
  • Gently fold the egg yolk mixture into the egg whites.
  • In two mugs, divide the rum and brandy evenly.
  • Add two scoops of the batter to each mug.
  • Slowly pour hot milk into each mug, stirring gently to combine.
  • Garnish with freshly grated nutmeg and serve immediately.

  • Use high-quality rum and brandy for the best flavor.
  • Adjust the spices to your preference.
  • Make the batter ahead of time and store it in the refrigerator.
  • For a richer cocktail, use half-and-half or heavy cream instead of milk.
